Today it was Armistice Day. My sister and I walked along the waterfront in Devonport to the Navy Museum. At their cafe she had a hot chocolate and I had ginger tea. This poem, on a wall, caught my eye.

He tohu Maumahara
Let there be peace
Let the sky glisten like greenstone
May the shimmering light forever
Dance in your path
Kia hora te marino
Kia whaka pounamu to moana
Kia tere te karohirohi i mua
