It's been very exciting to see Gond Tribal Art making its New Zealand debut at the Depot Artspace in Devonport thanks to Kate Potter who brought them back from India.
The majority of these artworks are incredibly detailed patterned ink drawings. Some of the larger pieces have been painted on canvas. They all have a story to tell.
On display also, a selection of hand crafted Tara books and some intricately stitched fabric lengths.
